BRIEF

ABOUT THIS CHALLENGE

Challenge:

How could we report the progress and incidents on site by using the data captured via the sensors positioned on resources around the project (on people, machines, installations)?

Background: 

The business unit Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructures requires qualitative and quantitative monitoring of the works in progress (civil works and transport infrastructures, residential and non-residential building) in order to optimise decision-making affecting task planning, resource management and control of works costs.

Objectives: 

Identify technological solutions to automate the data collection from different sources and magnitudes, their aggregation and subsequent processing in order to interpret trends and generate multiple reports on the works status in real time and thus, facilitate decision making.
